Thanksgiving Break

On Thursday, I went to my grandma's house in a small town called Madison about 20-30 minutes south of Emporia.  My dad's side of the family was there, and we drove my new car down there.  I drove most of the way there, and my dad drove the way back.  There were almost 20 people who attended the Thanksgiving lunch, and my grandma's small farmhouse was packed.  After eating, my dad, sister, and I had to quickly head out because it was beginning to rain harder, and we wanted to get home before dark.  The next day, Friday, my mom's side of the family celebrated Thanksgiving.  We went to Independence, Missouri to my aunt and uncle's house, and ate there with my mom, sister, grandparents, and my aunts, uncles, and cousins.  For the weekend, I did pretty much nothing except lounge around the house and watch the Chiefs game.  Overall, I had a good, relaxing break without any stress or school work.
