3 Day Weekend

Over the Labor Day weekend, the main thing that I did was that I had a basketball tournament.  The tournament was in Tulsa, so it was a 4-hour drive one way.  I rode to Tulsa with the coach, and I had to leave to meet him right after school Friday.  We arrived at the Double Tree Inn where we were staying at around 9:00 pm.  I was rooming was 3 of my other teammates, and it was a lot of fun.  We were able to stay up pretty late because our first game wasn't until 3:30 pm on Saturday.  However, we woke up at 9:00 am on Saturday for the breakfast at Double Tree, which closes each morning at 10:00 am.  After that, we mostly hung out at our suite, and the rest of the team headed over and we played Xbox.  By noon we had started to get hungry again, and we headed out into the city to find some lunch before our games.  I got a sandwich from Subway, but others from my team elected to eat at Sonic and Chick-fil-A.  By the time we got back to the hotel, we only had enough time to get changed into our uniforms and head out the door to get to Oral Roberts University where the tournament was being played.  We arrived about an hour before tip-off, and watched the younger teams play.  We ended up winning our first game, and the two after that.  Going undefeated, we won the whole tournament at the Varsity bracket.  Overall, my weekend was really great, and I had tons of fun in Tulsa.
